Witek Wilk, a graduate from University of Silesia in Katowice, Art Teaching Department in Cieszyn. He is a percussionist who, as he puts it himself, ‘can also play the quiet music’. Extremely dynamic and creative. He is not only a talented musician, but also an experienced sound designer and records producer.
He gave concerts with Ewa Bem, Mahanawi Quartet, Golec Brothers, Bogdan Hołownia and Krzysia Górniak. His favourite music is jazz, space music, groove and solo drums; his favourite thoughts: Anthony de Mello’s “Why does the bird sing? – because he has a song”,
“Why does Witek play? – because God wants it” (Jdt 16,1).
