Adam Lewandowski – a universal percussionist.
He plays on various percussion instruments, including congas, bongos, timbales, shakers, but also cajon, djembe, cabasa, tambourine, woodblock, rain.
His artistic career has led him through various musical experiences. From rock bands, such as “Mech”, through country music (“Country Family”, “Lonstar Band”), pop music (Anna German, the band “VOX”, Martyna Jakubowicz), session playing (e.g. recordings with Maryla Rodowicz, Krystyna Prońko, Halina Frąckowiak, Andrzej Zaucha, the musical “Kolęda Nocka”, and music for numerous films), and finally to his favourite jazz, when he plays with the best performers: with Wojciech Karolak, in Marek Bliziński’s trio, with Tomasz Szukalski, in Zbigniew Namysłowski’s “AIR CONDITION” in the years 1981-1984, with Marek Bałata and Krzysztof Sadowski. He also collaborated with the eminent violinist Vadim Brodski.
